Mecca: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has deployed 21 service centres to assist pilgrims during the 1447 AH Hajj season. These centres are designed to offer humanitarian, logistical, and multilingual support services, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the network comprises two main centres and 19 sub-centres that operate around the clock. These centres provide essential services to elderly pilgrims and people with disabilities. They also manage lost items and offer assistance to separated families and children, ensuring a smooth experience for all.
Additionally, the centres offer luggage storage services and rapid communication channels. They have implemented QR code-based location services to enhance crowd management and facilitate easy access to various service points.
