Bahrain Engages in Global and Local Diplomatic Activities

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today concentrated on recent local and international events involving the Kingdom of Bahrain over the past 24 hours.According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a written message from the President of the United States, further strengthening bilateral relations. Additionally, the King received more cables from Bahraini families affirming their loyalty and support. In a move to bolster diplomatic ties, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister met with the United Kingdom's Ambassador to Bahrain.In international engagements, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad participated in the Lalla Meryem Cup held in Morocco. Domestically, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad issued Edict (5) of 2026, appointing a temporary board for Al Ahli Club.Bahrain's Defence Force has announced achieving the highest levels of readiness and defensive preparedness in response to regional threats. The Kingdom has requested an emergency briefing from the UN Security Council following a drone attack near the UAE's Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.
