Riffa:Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, engaged in a tree-planting activity held at the Family Courts Complex in the Haniniya area of Riffa. This event was part of the broader National Tree Week initiative.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the National Tree Week initiative is in response to the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The initiative aims to promote tree planting and environmental sustainability by designating the third week of October each year as National Tree Week.
The tree-planting activity saw participation from various officials and employees, underscoring the commitment to environmental sustainability across the Kingdom.
