Dollar Steadies Near Six-Week High Amid Volatile Trading

Abu dhabi: The US dollar steadied on Friday near a six-week high following volatile overnight trading: The US dollar maintained its position on Friday, remaining near a six-week high as volatile trading continued overnight.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the dollar index was at 99.24 against a basket of currencies. This figure is close to the previous session's peak of 99.515, marking its highest level since April 7. The euro showed a slight decrease of 0.03%, trading at $1.1613, while the British pound stood at $1.3431.

The Australian dollar experienced a small decline of 0.06%, trading at $0.7145 against the US dollar. Meanwhile, the New Zealand dollar remained steady at $0.5873.
