Manama:Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, held a meeting with Professor Nic Beech, Vice Chancellor of the University of Salford in Manchester, UK, and Joanne Purves, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Partnerships and Global Engagement.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi, President of the British University of Bahrain, was also present at the meeting.
The discussion focused on the University of Salford's achievements within the international higher education community and its development initiatives in Bahrain through collaboration with the British University of Bahrain. Both parties explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the Higher Education Council and the university, aiming to expand and diversify academic programs and enhance investment in scientific research.
