Manama:Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, recently hosted Andreas Vyras, the Mayor of Larnaca and President of the Union of Cyprus Municipalities, along with his delegation at the Bahrain National Museum.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting underscored the significance of the relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus, with both parties expressing a strong commitment to enhancing their cooperative efforts.
During the discussions, both leaders explored avenues for advancing cultural relations between the two nations and addressed various topics of mutual interest. Andreas Vyras praised the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities for its dedication to fostering cooperation and cultural exchange, highlighting the potential benefits and prosperity these strengthened ties could bring to both countries and their citizens.
