Manama:Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, held a meeting with Andreas Vyras, Mayor of Larnaca and President of the Union of Cyprus Municipalities in the Republic of Cyprus.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister emphasized the robust relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus, highlighting their shared commitment to enhancing cooperation in multiple sectors.
The discussions between the two parties included potential collaborations in transportation and telecommunications, infrastructure development, and services. Additionally, they explored strategies to enhance tourism and trade, as well as opportunities in smart cities, modern technologies, and sustainable urban development.
Vyras praised the bilateral ties between the nations, underscoring the significance of strengthening cooperation and sharing expertise to benefit their mutual interests.
