Manama:His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, participated in a tree-planting event organized by the Southern Governorate in collaboration with several relevant entities as part of National Tree Week.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayyat, Deputy Governor of the Southern Governorate, also attended the event alongside various officials and staff from the Governorate.
The initiative is in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who has designated the third week of October each year as National Tree Week. This annual event aims to promote tree planting and environmental sustainability across the Kingdom.
