Palestinian Interior Minister Visits Jordanian Field Hospital in Nablus

Ramallah – Palestinian Minister of Interior, Maj. Gen. Ziad Hab Al-Reeh, recently visited the Jordanian field hospital Nablus/1, accompanied by his delegation. The visit underscored the ongoing collaboration and support between Jordan and Palestine in healthcare and humanitarian aid.

According to Jordan News Agency, the hospital commander provided the delegation with a comprehensive briefing on the hospital’s operations. This briefing covered the various clinics, medical specialties, and the types of medical, therapeutic, and humanitarian assistance provided to different groups in the community, especially considering the current challenges.

During the tour of the hospital’s facilities, the delegation noted the vital role and significant mission of the hospital staff in delivering a range of humanitarian services. Maj. Gen. Al-Reeh expressed profound gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan for his steadfast support of Palestinian national causes, particularly in providing medical and humanitarian aid to Gaza.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Palestinian Interior Minister lauded the administrators and staff of the hospital for their dedication to providing humanitarian services while fulfilling their medical and therapeutic duties. The Jordanian Field Hospital in Nablus, operating on royal orders, has been a crucial healthcare provider in the region. Since its inception, it has been working around the clock, serving approximately 800 patients to date, as part of Jordan’s broader commitment to deploying several military field hospitals across the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
