Kuwait Condemns Attack on Saudi Ship by Houthi Militias

Manama: The State of Kuwait has issued a strong condemnation of an attack by Houthi militias on a Saudi ship navigating the Red Sea. This attack has been labeled as a violation of international law and a significant threat to security, freedom of navigation, global trade, and energy supplies.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait has expressed its unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ministry has pledged its support for all measures that Riyadh might undertake to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and interests.

The statement released by the ministry emphasized Kuwait's rejection of any attempts to destabilize the region. It highlighted the necessity for an immediate cessation of such attacks and urged adherence to international laws that ensure the freedom of safe and unrestricted navigation in international waters.
