The ministry of justice: announced the launch of its unified summer programme for 2026 at centres serving younger generations. Dr. Ali Amin Al Rais, Director of Religious Affairs at the ministry, highlighted that the eight-week initiative is designed to utilize the summer holiday to enhance participants' knowledge and skills, while also reinforcing Islamic and national values through educational, training, and interactive activities tailored for various age groups.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the programme incorporates initiatives that focus on the Prophetic Sunnah, educational values, and practical application of prayer rulings. Additionally, it includes programmes aimed at fostering national belonging, responsible citizenship, social etiquette, and the safe use of technology. Participants will also engage in activities related to digital privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
The programme offers workshops in Arabic calligraphy, digital design, photography, digital production, drawing, and handicrafts. Dr. Al Rais mentioned that the initiative also aims to nurture creativity, leadership skills, and financial awareness among participants, introducing them to the basics of saving and financial planning. He encouraged parents to consider enrolling their children in the centres during the summer holiday.
