Manama: The Board of Directors of the National Communication Centre (NCC) held its second meeting of 2026, chaired by Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NCC.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Noaimi highlighted the importance of strengthening the national communication system's effectiveness and readiness to align with ongoing developments and future trends. This initiative is vital in supporting the comprehensive development goals and reinforcing Bahrain's advanced regional and international status. He also stressed the strategic priority of investing in, qualifying, and empowering national talent to advance the communications sector's competitiveness. The Board reviewed the 2026 capacity-building programme, which is designed to develop and qualify national cadres in government communication. The programme seeks to enhance their professional and knowledge readiness to adapt to the rapid changes in the media and communications sector. It also aims to improve institutional performance and reinforce best professional practices within the government communication system.
Additionally, the Board discussed various agenda items and the latest developments related to achieving its objectives and aspirations.
