Hot Air Balloons Enhance AlUla’s November Tourism with Scenic Flights

AlUla:Dozens of hot air balloons are taking to the skies over AlUla Governorate at sunrise, offering visitors breathtaking aerial views of the region's natural and historical landmarks as part of its November tourism program.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the flights are operated by both Saudi and international pilots under the supervision of the Saudi Arabian Hot Air Ballooning Federation. This organization is actively involved in developing the sport and training Saudi personnel. The flight schedules and launch locations are determined by weather and wind conditions.

The hour-long flights provide visitors with panoramic views of sandstone mountains, valleys, palm groves, and the ancient archaeological site of Hegra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These journeys offer ample opportunities for sightseeing and photography.

In addition to the balloon rides, AlUla's November tourism activities include illuminated balloon displays, stargazing, and outdoor cinema experiences, enhancing the visitor experience in this historic region.
