Saint petersburg: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, met with Kirill Dmitriev, Chief Executive Officer of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), during the 2026 Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting underscored the significance of enhancing collaboration with the Russian Federation, focusing on economic and investment sectors. Both parties explored opportunities to strengthen ties and discussed topics of mutual interest.
The session was attended by Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce; Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation; Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company; along with several officials.
