Manama:Batelco by Beyon has entered into a partnership agreement with Bareeq Al Retaj Real Estate Services to design and deliver integrated technology solutions for real estate projects in Bahrain. The agreement, signed during Gateway Gulf 2026, positions Batelco as a strategic technology partner for Bareeq Al Retaj.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the partnership will focus on incorporating advanced connectivity, Extra-Low Voltage (ELV), smart home, and intelligent building solutions into Bareeq Al Retaj's residential and other real estate developments. This collaboration aims to leverage Batelco's technology capabilities alongside Bareeq Al Retaj's real estate expertise to create digitally enabled properties.
The agreement outlines the exploration of joint solution designs and the development of customized technology solutions for each project, with specific solutions and implementation requirements to be determined on a case-by-case basis. Maitham Abdulla, CEO of Batelco by Beyon, emphasized the importance of considering connectivity and digital infrastructure from the early stages of real estate development. Ayoob Ali Alawadhi, Acting CEO and Board Member of Bareeq Al Retaj, highlighted the potential to enhance building efficiency and occupant experience through this partnership.
The initial term of the agreement is set for two years, providing a period for both companies to identify opportunities and tailor technology solutions to meet the unique needs of individual projects.
