Bahrain Commits to Expo 2030 Participation with Riyadh Contract

Manama: Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), has officially signed the Kingdom of Bahrain's participation contract for Expo 2030 Riyadh.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the contract was signed by Talal Al Marri, Chief Executive Officer of Expo 2030 Riyadh, on behalf of the Saudi side. The signing ceremony was attended by Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed emphasized that Bahrain's participation underscores the strong relationship between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and their ongoing cooperation in numerous areas. He highlighted the efforts of national teams in preparing for the event, aiming to present Bahrain's unique identity, achievements, and future goals. The Expo will serve as a platform to promote cultural and knowledge exchange and foster partnerships.

Expo 2030 Riyadh is scheduled to take place from October 1, 2030, to March 31, 2031, with an expected participation of over 200 official entities from around the globe.
