Amman: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, in Amman on the sidelines of the Arab League Council meeting at the ministerial level. During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed the relations between Bahrain and Iraq and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest. They also exchanged views on the latest regional developments and affirmed the importance of enhancing joint Arab action to address current challenges.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was attended by Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Ambassador to Jordan, and Fawzia Zainal, Bahrain's Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States.
