Bahrain Highlights Strategic Collaborations at IISS Manama Dialogue 2025

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours. HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister held significant meetings with both UK and U.S. senior delegates participating in the IISS Manama Dialogue 2025, underlining Bahrain's strategic alliances.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Crown Prince's engagements with international delegates emphasized Bahrain's commitment to fostering regional and global security through collaborative efforts. The discussions at the IISS Manama Dialogue 2025 also highlighted the Gulf states' role in promoting security across various regions.

In addition to the meetings at the IISS Manama Dialogue, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister traveled to the Arab Republic of Egypt to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, further strengthening ties with Egypt.

Bahrain also hosted the annual Defence Working Group meeting with the UK and the US, demonstrating its dedication to defense collaborations. Concurrently, Bahrain welcomed the Security Council resolution on the Moroccan Sahara, showcasing its support for international resolutions.

Political consultations continued as Bahrain and Tajikistan held their second round, reflecting ongoing diplomatic efforts. The Bahraini Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of multi-layered security and sustained collaboration among nations for true security.

Furthermore, the Interior Minister engaged in discussions with the UK Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, a UK House of Lords member, and the American Jewish Committee Chief Policy and Political Affairs Officer, highlighting Bahrain's active diplomatic relations.

In other developments, the Deputy Interior Minister met with the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, and the Education Ministry Undersecretary attended the UNESCO General Conference in Uzbekistan, participating in a dialogue on skills for a sustainable future.

Finally, the Royal Fund for Fallen Servicemen announced registration for volunteering in the 2025 Commemoration Day campaign, marking Bahrain's commitment to honoring its servicemen.
