FRENCH COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN LEBANON CAST THEIR VOTES TO ELECT THEIR EU PARLIAMENT REPRESENTATIVES


The voting process for members of the French community in Lebanon ended at 6:00 p.m. today, to elect their French representatives in the European Parliament (around 81 French MPs out of 720).

The voting process began at 8:00 o’clock this morning at the French Cultural Center, with about 2,861 voters participating out of 18,000 registered voters. The percentage of voters reached about 15.9% who were distributed among approximately 37 lists.

The vote count will be done manually and the results will be sent to the French Ministry of the Interior.
