Youth Minister Engages in AI Dialogue at Youth City 2030

Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, actively participated in a "Hadeeth" session titled "Inspiring Youth Experiences in Artificial Intelligence" held at Youth City 2030. The event also featured Muhannad Sulaiman, Communications and International Relations Advisor and Head of the Artificial Intelligence Team at the Ministry of Information.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Youth Minister emphasized the significant role of artificial intelligence (AI) in empowering the youth. She highlighted the critical need to stay abreast of technological advancements by investing in young people and enhancing their digital skills. This, she noted, is essential for their future readiness and for supporting their role in a knowledge- and innovation-driven economy.

The session centered on discussions about youth experiences with AI, the potential opportunities these technologies present, and the development of necessary skills and knowledge to utilize AI in creating solutions, developing projects, and identifying future prospects.

Minister Tawfeeqi praised the innovative ideas and experiences shared by Bahraini youth in the AI sector. She remarked that equipping young individuals with advanced technological tools fosters creative thinking and enables them to translate knowledge into practical applications and projects. Such initiatives are aligned with labor market needs and enhance competitiveness.

The Youth Minister further stated that hosting the "Hadeeth" session at Youth City 2030 underscores the city's commitment to providing an integrated environment that merges dialogue, learning, and practical experience. The city offers specialized programs in AI and emerging technologies, which empower youth to explore the latest technological applications, hone their skills, and turn knowledge into innovative solutions to meet future demands.
