Manama: Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police and Chairman of the Royal Academy of Police Scientific Council, met with newly graduated officers from the 14th batch of university graduate officer cadets. The batch graduated on July 16 in a ceremony attended by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Academy of Police.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Chief of Police congratulated the newly graduated officers and commended the directives of the Interior Minister and his close follow-up in preparing highly qualified and professional police personnel capable of strengthening the security and policing system and serving the Kingdom.
Lt. Gen. Al Hassan stated that the Ministry of Interior, guided by the directives of the Interior Minister, continues to implement its programmes in line with a comprehensive strategic vision aimed at modernising the security system. This includes enhancing training and qualification, adopting modern technologies, and improving the quality of security services in accordance with international best practices and the demands of the present and future. He emphasized that the human element remains the cornerstone of development and the foundation of successful security work.
The Chief of Police highlighted the ministry's ongoing development across its various sectors through a strategy of modernisation and continuous improvement to bolster security readiness. He emphasized the importance of continuing to build capabilities, develop police work, enhance scientific and practical skills, and benefit from the latest methodologies and technologies.
Lt. Gen. Al Hassan urged the graduates to persist in developing their knowledge and professional capabilities, take advantage of specialised training programmes, and uphold the values of initiative and teamwork. He stressed that continuous development and excellence in performance are both a professional and national responsibility and that police officers must serve as role models in conduct and discipline, performing their duties with sincerity, dedication, and loyalty to the Kingdom and its leadership.
