Manama: Marwan Fouad Kamal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, inspected the final preparations for Youth City 2030, organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in cooperation with its strategic partner, the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), ahead of its official launch on July 12.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the inspection tour covered the city's facilities, training centres, and programme venues, as well as technical, logistical, and organisational preparations to ensure participants receive a comprehensive training experience in line with high standards of quality and efficiency.
Kamal said Youth City 2030 reflects the directives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, to invest in Bahraini youth by equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed for the future. He emphasised the importance of completing preparations in line with the approved plans and ensuring the readiness of work teams to deliver programmes that develop the leadership, professional, and creative capabilities of Bahraini youth through specialised training and practical experience.
He commended the efforts of the organising committees and partners, praising the cooperation between all stakeholders in ensuring the success of the initiative. He expressed confidence in the city's readiness for a successful launch and encouraged young people to benefit from the training programmes and opportunities it offers to develop their talents and skills.
