UAE Backs Bahrain Measures Following Uncovering of IRGC-Linked Group


Manama: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) expressed support for the measures undertaken by the Kingdom of Bahrain following the uncovering of a group linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the ideology of Wilayat al-Faqih in cases involving espionage for foreign entities and support for Iranian attacks.



According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, reaffirmed support for all measures undertaken by Bahrain to safeguard its security, sovereignty, stability, and public safety. His Highness also commended the vigilance and efficiency of Bahrain’s security authorities in uncovering the group and taking legal measures against those involved.



HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed stressed the UAE’s rejection of terrorism and organisations linked to foreign agendas, underscoring the importance of regional and international cooperation in addressing such threats.



HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed underscored that Bahrain’s security is an integral part of the security of the UAE and GCC countries.
