Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, received a telephone call from Shaikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait. During the call, Shaikh Fahad Yousef expressed Kuwait’s support for the security measures undertaken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to safeguard its security and stability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Fahad Yousef commended the vigilance of Bahrain’s security authorities. He emphasised Kuwait’s commitment to supporting Bahrain in confronting threats to its security and stability. The conversation highlighted the longstanding ties between the two countries and their peoples.
