Manama: Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Muhammad Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, commended the efforts of the Ministry of Interior following the uncovering of a group linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the ideology of Wilayat al-Faqih, and the arrest of 41 of its members. Dr. Al Hajri noted that the operation demonstrates the vigilance and efficiency of Bahrain’s security authorities and their commitment to safeguarding the Kingdom’s security and stability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Hajri affirmed that Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, will remain steadfast against attempts to undermine its security and stability. He emphasized the Kingdom’s resilience against extremist and terrorist ideologies that contravene the values of Bahraini society.
Dr. Al Hajri also praised the efforts led by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, highlighting the role of security personnel in maintaining national security and safeguarding citizens and residents. He underscored the importance of continued national unity and increased public awareness in confronting extremist ideologies and organizations targeting Bahrain’s security and national identity. The Chairman affirmed that protecting the Kingdom’s security is a shared responsibility.
