Bandar Seri Begawan:His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman and His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam engaged in official talks today in the capital city of Brunei.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions focused on reviewing and enhancing bilateral relations to serve the mutual interests of both nations. The two leaders also exchanged views on several issues of common concern.
The official talks expanded to cover collaboration in various sectors such as energy, manufacturing, mining, petrochemicals, food security, and aquaculture. Both leaders witnessed the signing of a joint statement to elevate bilateral relations to a strategic partnership. Additionally, an agreement on mutual visa exemption for certain passport holders and memoranda of understanding in labor and human resources development, health cooperation, economy and strategic planning, and agriculture and fisheries were signed.
