Amman: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has issued a strong condemnation of recent Iranian attacks on several neighboring countries, including Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Bahrain, and Qatar. The attacks have targeted key infrastructure and diplomatic entities, raising significant regional security concerns.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement expressing its categorical rejection of Iran's actions, which include violations against Kuwaiti border posts and an offshore drilling platform of the Kuwait Oil Company. The statement also highlighted attacks on the Kuwaiti Consulate General in Basra and two Emirati oil tankers navigating the Strait of Hormuz. Further, the Kingdom expressed alarm over Iran's continued threats to the stability of Jordan, Bahrain, and Qatar.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia insists that Iran's actions are not only a breach of the sovereignty of these nations but also a violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles set forth by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. The Kingdom emphasized that Iran's conduct destabilizes the region and undermines efforts to maintain peace and security.
