Manama:The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has entered into an agreement with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Centre in Jordan to provide financial support for Syrian refugees suffering from cancer who cannot afford treatment in Jordan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement was formalized by Ebrahim Dalhan Al Doseri, Acting Secretary-General of RHF, and Nisreen Qatamish, Director-General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Centre.
The initiative aims to give beneficiaries access to diagnostic, treatment, and medical care services at the King Hussein Cancer Centre, based on established medical and social eligibility criteria.
Al Doseri emphasized that the grant reflects Bahrain's longstanding commitment to supporting humanitarian and health initiatives. He highlighted RHF's dedication to projects that address humanitarian needs and provide necessary care to those in need.
He also praised the collaboration with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Centre, recognizing the specialized services and comprehensive care they offer to cancer patients. Al Doseri noted the importance of partnerships with specialized institutions to enhance the impact of humanitarian initiatives and ensure they reach those in need.
