Manama:Public Prosecution participated in a remote international seminar organized by the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP). The seminar, titled "OCTOPUS," focused on an environmental legal database aimed at legal and law enforcement professionals.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Counsellor Adnan Mattar Fakhro and Senior Advocate Hassan Abbas Al Haddad represented the Public Prosecution in this seminar. The OCTOPUS database is designed to aid legal professionals and criminal justice practitioners in tackling transnational wildlife crime. It provides access to applicable laws, regulations, and information on law enforcement agencies and specialized prosecution authorities in various countries.
