Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the esteemed Founder and Trustee of the King Faisal Foundation and Chairman of the Board of the King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies, recently welcomed Abdulla Mohamed Al Ahmed, the Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat), during the latter's visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting centered around mutual research interests, emphasizing the pivotal role that think tanks play in analyzing current developments and aiding public policy formulation. Both parties explored avenues to enhance scientific collaboration and synchronize their efforts with the objectives outlined in the Sakhir Declaration, which was issued at the 46th GCC Supreme Council Summit, also known as the Bahrain Summit.
This engagement underscores Derasat's dedication to fortifying its research collaborations with prominent Saudi institutions. It highlights their commitment to fostering knowledge exchange and supporting strategic research, as well as institutional cooperation on issues of mutual importance.
