Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), met with senior officers to review the key stages of the ongoing development and modernisation plans of the BDF.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting included Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs; Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff; and Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Adviser for Financial and Technical Affairs at the BDF General Command.
The Commander-in-Chief emphasised that, with the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, the BDF continues to advance through comprehensive plans and programmes.
The Commander-in-Chief noted that the BDF maintains the highest levels of efficiency and readiness, thanks to its personnel and their dedication to carrying out their duties with integrity, courage, and commitment for the benefit of the nation and its citizens.
