Manama: Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance of the Sultanate of Oman, visited the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) during his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The visit was attended by Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; Faisal bin Hareb bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Bahrain; and Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain and Chairman of the BIBF Board of Directors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Al Habsi was briefed on BIBF’s educational facilities. He received an overview of the institute’s training programmes and professional certifications, as well as its role in financial and banking education.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the role of Bahrain’s financial and banking sector, identifying it as a national priority. He noted BIBF’s contribution to specialised training programmes and its influence on advancing the sector. The minister also mentioned the importance of efforts to train and qualify national talent and create career opportunities.
