Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, the Minister of Information and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Communication Centre (NCC), emphasized the significant role of national media in supporting the comprehensive development of Bahrain. Under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and with the backing of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the media has transcended its traditional boundaries to become a crucial partner in the Kingdom's progress.According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister made these remarks during a dialogue session organized by the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) for participants in the Executive Programme in Government Communication. The session was also attended by Ahmed Khalid Al Araifi, Chief Executive of the National Communication Centre. Dr. Al Noaimi highlighted Bahrain's success in establishing an integrated government communication system designed to boost public awarene ss, reinforce trust, and showcase national achievements aligned with the Kingdom's strategic priorities and aspirations.Dr. Al Noaimi elaborated on the foundational components of the system, which include investing in national talent, embracing innovation, and utilizing modern technology to enhance media operations. He stated that the media sector is now a central player in fostering development and elevating Bahrain's standing on regional and international stages. The effectiveness of the government communication system hinges on the delivery of clear, credible messages that mirror achievements across varied sectors and bolster partnerships that drive growth and prosperity.In addition, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, noted the importance of dialogue sessions in providing a platform for exchanging expertise and viewpoints across different fields. She emphasized the session's focus on the future of media and government communicatio n, asserting that bolstering national capabilities in these areas is essential for supporting development and improving institutional performance.Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa added that the institute remains committed to offering specialized programs and initiatives that prepare capable national professionals.
