National Cyber Security Centre and Judicial Institute Launch Cybercrime Training Programme

Manama: The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), in collaboration with the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute, has launched a specialised training programme aimed at equipping judges and public prosecutors with the skills needed to manage cybercrime investigations and handle digital evidence effectively.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chief Executive of the NCSC, expressed that the initiative aligns with national efforts to bolster capabilities in managing digital evidence. It also aims to enhance readiness to tackle cyber risks by fostering closer cooperation among cyber, legal, and judicial authorities.

Dr. Riyadh Mohammed Sayadi, Director of the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute, highlighted that the programme is a crucial component of the broader effort to provide specialised judicial training. This training is designed to keep pace with legislative and technological advancements, ensuring that participants gain practical skills necessary for addressing cybercrime cases and managing digital evidence effectively.
