Manama: The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) held its regular meeting, chaired by Noora Isa Mubarak, Deputy CEO for Enforcement and Protection and Chairperson of the committee. Mubarak highlighted the progress achieved by Bahraini women and their active roles in the Kingdom's comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting also marked the Supreme Council for Women (SCW)'s Silver Jubilee, celebrating 25 years since its establishment. The committee commended the contributions made by the council under the leadership of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the SCW, in enhancing the active participation of Bahraini women in the Kingdom's development process.
The committee discussed various topics and initiatives aimed at promoting equal opportunities and developing the institutional work environment. It emphasized supporting competencies and encouraging employees to continue contributing and pursuing excellence. Additionally, the committee reviewed methods to strengthen institutional practices that support development and improve performance.
The committee reaffirmed its commitment to implementing initiatives that contribute to developing human resources and fostering a work environment based on equal opportunities. These efforts align with the LMRA's objectives and direction towards achieving institutional excellence and enhancing performance efficiency.
