Manama:His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received an official invitation from His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of Jordan to attend a High-Level Conference on Safeguarding Humanity in Times of War, scheduled to take place in Jordan this December.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the invitation was delivered by Rami Saleh Wreikat Al Adwan, the Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps.
King Hamad expressed gratitude for the invitation and highlighted the longstanding and evolving relationship between Bahrain and Jordan. He emphasized the ongoing commitment of both nations to strengthen these ties in support of their mutual interests.
King Hamad also extended his best wishes for the conference's success in promoting international cooperation to protect humanity and safeguard civilians during times of war and armed conflict.
