Manama:The educational process for the new academic year is fully underway in Bahrain, as stated by Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, highlighting the high level of commitment from students and school staff.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Education Minister emphasized that Bahrain's qualified national expertise and its advanced educational and digital infrastructure have strengthened the education system's ability to perform efficiently under various circumstances. This progress reflects the significant support within Bahrain's comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr. Juma noted the Ministry of Education's effective response to the previous year's challenges, such as the Iranian attacks, by utilizing a distance learning system that allowed students to continue their education. Approximately 247,000 students benefited from this system, while teaching and administrative staff ensured that academic requirements were met According to approved study plans.
The new academic year in Bahrain has also seen the launch of advanced educational and technological projects, including the introduction of the International Baccalaureate programme in government schools. Preparations are underway for an AI-powered smart learning platform, alongside curriculum development in line with global trends.
The progress made during this period contributes to the ministry's experience, showcasing the national workforce's capability to manage education efficiently under various circumstances.
