Manama: Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, personally oversaw the departure of groups from the Bahraini Hajj Mission at Bahrain International Airport. The event marked a significant moment for the pilgrims as they continued their spiritual journey.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event was attended by prominent figures including Ambassador Nayef bin Bandar Al Sudairi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain, and Isa Sami Al Mannai, Undersecretary for Justice and Islamic Affairs. Minister Al Maawda emphasized the streamlined coordination among official entities during the Hajj season, highlighting the dedication of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Their efforts ensure the comfort and safety of Bahraini pilgrims from their departure to their return.
Minister Al Maawda praised the role of the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Bahrain in enhancing cooperation and coordination to facilitate the departure procedures for Bahraini pilgrims. He acknowledged the early organizational preparations by Saudi Arabia for the 1447 AH Hajj season, which improved service efficiency and provided an environment conducive to performing rituals with ease. The minister also recognized the ongoing efforts of Saudi authorities in serving pilgrims from the Islamic world.
Furthermore, he expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Interior, Bahrain Airport Company, the King Fahd Causeway Authority, and all concerned entities for their contributions in streamlining travel procedures and ensuring a smooth operation of the pilgrims' journeys.
