Islamic Endowments Affairs Council Announces New Registration Process for Preaching Activities

Manama: The departments under the Islamic Endowments Affairs Council have announced the registration process for individuals interested in engaging in preaching, guidance, and related activities. Prospective applicants are required to obtain a certificate of good conduct through Bahrain's national portal, bahrain.bh, as a prerequisite for completing the registration procedures.

According to Bahrain News Agency, after securing the certificate, applicants must access the registration service via https://permits.moj.gov.bh or through the e-services on the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments website. They are advised to submit their applications to the relevant department at the Islamic Endowments Affairs Council, ensuring that all required information is provided and necessary documents, including a valid certificate of good conduct, are attached.

It is important to note that Decision (74) of 2026, which amends certain provisions of Decision (56) of 2011 on regulating licenses for preaching and guidance, mandates that those covered by its provisions regularize their status according to the prescribed rules and procedures within one month of its enforcement.
