Information Minister Visits Youth City 2030 to Promote Youth Media Initiatives

Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, recently toured Youth City 2030 at Exhibition World Bahrain, alongside Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs. The visit underscored the ongoing development of youth media initiatives aimed at empowering young people in Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Noaimi examined a variety of programmes, activities, and training initiatives that Youth City 2030 offers. These initiatives are designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of young individuals, aligning with Bahrain's vision of fostering youth participation in national development. The Information Minister emphasized that Youth City 2030 has become a cornerstone national initiative for youth empowerment and capacity building, thanks to its integrated training environment and strategic partnerships. He praised the collaboration between the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Youth Affairs, which exemplifies the unified government efforts under Team Bahrain to implement initiatives that invest in the youth.

During the visit, Dr. Al Noaimi also explored media-related activities at the city. He remarked on the ministry's ongoing commitment to developing initiatives that nurture national talent in media, recognizing young people as vital contributors to the evolution of national media. The initiatives aim to produce media content that reflects Bahrain's identity while adapting to the fast-paced changes in the media sector.

Dr. Al Noaimi further elaborated that the ministry's involvement in Youth City 2030 provides youth with a comprehensive practical training experience. The media training programs, enriched by the participation of MBC Group through MBC Academy and MBC Talent Agency, offer young people a chance to gain professional experience and develop their creative skills. The Information Minister expressed his appreciation for the development of Youth City 2030's training content, acknowledging the efforts of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and all partners involved. He highlighted the initiative's role in preparing young talents to meet future challenges and contribute significantly to Bahrain's development.
