HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Congratulates Muharraq Club on King’s Cup Victory

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, extended his congratulations to the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of Muharraq Sports Club, along with its affiliates and fans, on the club's victory in HM the King's Football Cup, following their win over Riffa Sports Club in the final held this evening.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness commended Muharraq Sports Club's performance throughout the match and across the tournament. He noted that this achievement reflects the efforts of the administrative and technical staff, as well as the players, which enabled the team to secure the title.

His Royal Highness also highlighted the performance demonstrated by Riffa Sports Club, wishing them success in upcoming competitions. He commended the sportsmanship of both teams, as well as the morale, skill, and potential displayed by the players throughout the match.

In this regard, His Royal Highness emphasised that this reflects the development of Bahraini football and its achievements across various sporting competitions. He also commended the presence of supporters of the two clubs, noting the impact this had in motivating the players.

His Royal Highness expressed his sincere wishes for the continued success and progress of the Kingdom's national sports clubs, affirming his confidence that they will sustain their development, thereby contributing to elevating the Kingdom's standing across regional and international sporting events and championships.
