HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Discusses Economic Development with BCCI Chairman

Gudaibiya: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with Nabeel Khaled Kanoo, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), at Gudaibiya Palace. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted that Bahrain's ongoing achievements are supported by the partnership and commitments between the public and private sectors, known as Team Bahrain, in driving the Kingdom's comprehensive development, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister stressed the significance of enhancing cooperation and expanding opportunities to support economic growth, competitiveness, and sustainable development. He noted that collaboration between government entities and the private sector is a key pillar in boosting the national economy, enhancing its competitiveness, and achieving sustainable growth.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasized that greater cooperation between the public and private sectors is essential to advance development efforts, leverage promising opportunities, and build on the Kingdom's achievements. He reiterated the private sector's role as a critical partner in development and expressed continued efforts to empower the sector and boost its contribution across vital sectors to support economic prosperity and national aspirations.

The Chairman of the BCCI expressed appreciation for His Royal Highness's support for the private sector and efforts to strengthen its role in contributing to the Kingdom's economic development. He also appreciated the Government's support and measures in response to the hostile Iranian aggression against the Kingdom. The Chairman commended the Government's efforts to create a conducive business environment that supports economic growth and strengthens the partnership between the public and private sectors, contributing to national goals and aspirations.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, was also in attendance at the meeting.
