According to Bahrain News Agency, the Cabinet celebrated the silver jubilee of the Supreme Council for Women, recognizing the achievements of Bahraini women in the Kingdom's comprehensive development, a vision led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. It also emphasized the ongoing support from HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the SCW.
The success of Youth City 2030 was noted, following a visit from His Majesty the King. The Cabinet commended the contributions of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in advancing the youth and sports sectors. Additionally, congratulations were extended to His Majesty the King on the anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed's (PBUH) birth.
The Cabinet acknowledged the meeting between His Majesty the King and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, underscoring discussions on bilateral relations. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Education to conduct an induction day for parents and guardians and ensure optimal learning environments for students.
Progress in investigating the Al Ramli residential fire was reviewed, with condolences offered to the victims' families. The Cabinet discussed safety compliance in residential buildings and approved several memorandums, including priority draft laws, a Free Trade Agreement with Pakistan, and memorandums of understanding with Romania and Oman.
The Cabinet reviewed the agenda of the 168th GCC Ministerial Council session, outcomes from Bahrain's participation in the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, and the progress of Youth City 2030. Ministerial reports on various international engagements and outcomes from recent visits were also discussed.
