HM King Thanked by Information Minister for Statement on Radio Bahrain’s 85th Anniversary

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of thanks from Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, following His Majesty's statement congratulating Radio Bahrain on the 85th anniversary of the first radio broadcast in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gulf region.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Noaimi described the royal praise as a proud honour for Bahrain's media sector and reiterated commitment to advancing His Majesty the King's vision. He emphasised the significant progress achieved in the media sector under the leadership of His Majesty, with increased professionalism, digital innovation, and a stronger international presence for the Kingdom.

The Minister highlighted the steady support for radio broadcasting since its establishment during the era of the late His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, recognising its role in educating the public, preserving cultural values, and strengthening national unity.

The Information Minister reiterated his commitment to implementing HM the King's vision for media development, under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with the aim of reinforcing radio's role, enriching its content, safeguarding national achievements, and promoting Bahrain's continued prosperity.
