HM King Leads Eid Al Adha Prayers in Bahrain

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa performed Eid Al Adha prayers in a solemn ceremony attended by various dignitaries and members of the public. The event was marked by a sermon delivered by Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Hajri, which emphasized the spiritual and national significance of the occasion.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the sermon began with expressions of gratitude to Allah Almighty and prayers for Prophet Mohammed and his companions. Shaikh Al Hajri highlighted Eid as a day cherished by Allah, expressing appreciation for Bahrain's leadership and its ongoing commitment to safeguarding the nation's security and stability.

The sermon underscored the importance of Eid as an opportunity to renew allegiance to His Majesty the King, reinforcing that fidelity to rightful leadership is essential for preserving faith and national wellbeing. Shaikh Al Hajri commended the vigilance of Bahrain's defence and security forces for their efforts in maintaining societal security and protecting the Kingdom's achievements. He noted that patriotism is a fundamental human value, demonstrated through unity and solidarity with the national leadership.

Prayers were offered for the safety and success of His Majesty the King, with hopes for Bahrain's continued security, prosperity, and progress. Following the prayers, His Majesty exchanged Eid Al Adha greetings with attendees, expressing gratitude for their warm wishes.

His Majesty further extended Eid Al Adha greetings to the people of Bahrain, praying for enduring blessings for the Kingdom and peace and prosperity for the Arab and Islamic nations. Attendees conveyed their congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty, expressing pride in Bahrain's comprehensive achievements and esteemed standing regionally and internationally, attributed to His Majesty's leadership and vision.
