Manama: His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), extended his congratulations to His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa following the issuance of the Royal Decree reappointing him as Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA). HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad also serves as the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali highlighted the significant role that the confidence placed in HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad has played in advancing Bahrain's sports sector. His progressive leadership has been instrumental in driving substantial progress in achievements and infrastructure, aligning with the leadership's vision of fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali further noted that there has been major progress in the sports system due to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad's dedicated efforts and impactful initiatives. These have enhanced the institutional environment, strengthened sports federations and clubs, and created new opportunities for athletes to achieve success.
In addition, HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali expressed confidence that the upcoming phase will bring about new achievements and initiatives, further solidifying Bahrain's position as a prominent regional and international sports hub.
