Manama: The Government Hospitals held the "Psoriasis Promoting Power" event in recognition of World Psoriasis Day. The initiative aimed to raise awareness of psoriasis and provide guidance on managing the condition from medical, psychological, and social perspectives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al Jalahma, CEO of Government Hospitals, highlighted that the event reflects the hospitals' commitment to supporting patients with chronic conditions and promoting positive, empowered approaches to health. She praised the efforts of medical and community teams in creating a comprehensive care environment that addresses both physical and emotional needs.
The programme featured interactive sessions and demonstrations of the latest treatments and technologies, alongside discussions and personal stories from patients and specialists sharing their experiences and successes.
