Foreign Ministers Discuss Bahrain’s Defense Amidst Iranian Attack

Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call today from HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.

According to Bahrain News Agency, during the call, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed condemned the Iranian attack carried out against the Kingdom of Bahrain using ballistic missiles and drones. He described the attack as a flagrant violation of international law and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817. Sheikh Abdullah also commended the efficiency and readiness of the Bahrain Defence Force's air defence system in countering the attack. He affirmed the UAE's full solidarity with Bahrain and support for all measures taken to safeguard its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

Dr. Al Zayani expressed his appreciation for the UAE's solidarity and support, noting that it reflects the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the leaderships and people of the two countries. He affirmed the readiness of the Bahrain Defence Force to defend the Kingdom's sovereignty, security, and stability. Dr. Al Zayani conveyed his wishes for the continued security, stability, and prosperity of the United Arab Emirates.
