Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Alastair Long, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Both sides reaffirmed the longstanding ties and strategic cooperation between Bahrain and the UK, discussing means to expand bilateral collaboration across various sectors to further the shared interests of both nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, they also exchanged views on current regional and international developments. Both officials emphasised the importance of ongoing efforts to promote regional security and stability and addressed topics of mutual concern. The meeting was attended by Shaikha Al Anoud bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Acting Chief of European Affairs.
