Education Minister Inaugurates Royal University for Women International Conference

Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, inaugurated the Fourth International Conference on Women and Society 2026, organized by the Royal University for Women under the theme "Artificial Intelligence and Technological Innovation: Women Shaping Tomorrow". The conference brought together academics, researchers, experts, and specialists from several countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak emphasized that investment in education, scientific research, technology, and artificial intelligence (AI) is a key pillar for achieving sustainable development and enhancing the Kingdom of Bahrain's competitiveness. He highlighted the importance of preparing national talent capable of leading digital transformation while strengthening the role of women as active partners in innovation and development. He commended the Royal University for Women's efforts in supporting scientific research and advancing women's development, praising the organization of the conference.

Professor Riyad Hamzah, President of the Royal University for Women, stated that the conference reflects the university's commitment to preparing qualified women capable of contributing to national development. He added that the event serves as an international platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and exploring the future of innovation.

The conference featured discussions on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, financial technology, health innovation, sustainability, and green innovation, alongside presentations of the latest research and practical applications in these domains.
